sardines (2025) Presented at Triskelion Arts’ Stage Dive series in June 2025 as a work-in-progress. Four people in business casual head into the city at the same time every weekday. They’re familiar with each other’s schedules, so when one is out sick or catches a later train, another will quietly make note of the absence. Independent from the rest, each works an eight-hour day, and they meet again at the platform. One imagines building a life with another but never starts the conversation; this piece explores unrealized relationships in a city of millions.
